California is a state with many sanctuary cities. Basically our entire state is one large sanctuary. Sanctuary cities such as Jerry McNerney's home county of Contra Costa offer assistance and protection to illegal aliens and "undocumented workers." The undocumented criminals who use our laws to prey upon our innocent citizens has become a serious problem for law enforcement. I believe in compassion and a path to citizenship for legal immigrants, but not amnesty for those who have broken our laws.
